A gift

Gifts come in sooo many forms, some small, some large, some tangible and some not...I love a gift, and try to remember that really everything is a gift, the gift of life, the gift of love, children, nature.

So this may start out pretty profound but really is simple. At my first Friday art show recently I was getting ready to leave and I made a comment of no great significance, can not even remember what it was but it started a quick succession that led to me coming home with a gift. To many it doesn't mean much but to me it is quite useful and was thrilling. The store owner asked if I wanted to take one of the jewelry forms off her hands, " really, I sure will" so I came home with this. A perfect present to show my jewelry and maybe even my silk scarves.
Thank you Paige at Miss Zula's.... You made a small, home business owner very happy.

You manifested my mannequin!

I've been trying for a few weeks to "manifest" a mannequin. You know, I visualize having one, and by magic one comes to me somehow.

But it came to you instead! LOL.

Someone tried to sell me one for $35 at the flea market two months ago and I was out of money! I could have bought it (would have had to get his card, etc.) and I wish now I'd made the effort.

How wonderful for you! I cannot wait to see what you do with her! Maybe you should have a mannequin naming contest!
