First Friday, Miss Zula's, Missoula, Montana this is where I will be tonight. I am very excited with a bit of butterflies to be showing my work.
It is a very nice oppurtunity. I will be showing for all of June and July so I am hoping to get a lot of exposure, if not a sale or two.
Above are the ads for the show and a picture of me that my son took surrounded by some of my paintings.
I tried to keep my art very reasonable, with the economy the way it is art is less of a need. I would rather have someone enjoying thier very own piece of original art in thier own space than have them gracing my home studio walls. As I am always paintings eventually I do run out of room, so I want to share.
So you know this is what first Friday is-- First Friday Gallery Night features various art exhibition openings between 15 and 20 galleries and museums from local and national artists the first Friday of every month from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Beautiful art, the opportunity to meet artists, complimentary appetizers and refreshments that creates a wonderful experience for both tourists and residents.
I wish you all could be there, but since I know you can't I will blog again to let you know how it is going.

Congrats Kanyetta! I'm sure the people will enjoy your wonderful work. And with you being in Montana and all, you might be referred to as a rebel in the Montana art world! LOL. Take care.
